My daughter posed for me in this elegant gown (red sheet held on with a clothes pin with black pantie hose tied around waist). I was looking for a strong light and dark contrast. It's painted with soft pastel on a special board that is tinted grey and has a coating of marble dust to give it "tooth" to hold the pastel. It had a different feel than the other types of surfaces that I use, think I will give it another try.Wednesday, January 13, 2010
